The Kaitlin Marie Bell Foundation, Inc. is an organization that helps out individuals who have a financial need for the care of their disabled child. The foundation is named after a child that had a traumatic brain injury as the result of a car accident. Kaitlin Marie Bell succumbed to her injuries in August, 1998 at the age of 4.
The organization strives to provide services or a piece of equipment that a child needs. Applicants must show a financial need and provide supporting documentation, including letters from doctors, specialists or therapists before an application will be considered.
In order to receive assistance from the Kaitlin Marie Bell Foundation, Inc. a child must be under the age of 21. The child or their parents must be residents of Delmarva or the Eastern Shore in Delaware. All applications are reviewed by a board and a decision will be made by a majority vote.
