The Wounded Warrior Project was founded by veterans and their family members who wanted to make a difference for the wounded soldiers returning from missions in Iraq and Afghanistan. What started out as a small group of people trying to assist others has turned into a large network of individuals all dedicated to helping wounded soldiers returning home to civilian life.
The Wounded Warrior Project is a non-profit organization with headquarters in Jacksonville, Florida. It also has offices in Washington D.C. and New York City.
