11. Ohio - Camp Nuhop

Camp Nuhop is a "residential summer camp for all children with learning disabilities, attention deficit disorders and behavior disorders." The camp is for children aged 6 to 18. Camp Nuhop also offers respite programs for campers and parents in the fall, winter and spring.

12. Pennsylvania - Camp Lee Mar

Camp Lee Mar is a seven-week summer camp for children with special needs. It is located in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. Children aged 5 to 21 may apply.

13. Pennsylvania - Camp Sequoia

"Camp Sequoia is an overnight summer camp for boys ages 8-17 who need developing their social skills. Our campers present with neurological profiles which include one or more of the following: ADHD, certain profiles of Asperger's syndrome, a high-functioning autism spectrum diagnosis or learning differences which effect social skill development."

They also offer a school year program, Sequoia Kids, for children in the Philadelphia area.

14. Pennsylvania - Summit Camp

"Summit Camp is a summer sleep away camp for boys and girls, ages 8-19, with issues of attention. These may include Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD and/or ADHD), Aspergers syndrome, HFA, awkward social skills, verbal or non-verbal learning disabilities (NVLD), and/or mild social or emotional concerns. Some of our campers may also have Tourette's syndrome, O.C.D., and /or mild mood issues."

Summit Camp also offers other programs, such as the Travel Program for teens aged 15 and up, as well as a Weekender Program for children aged 11 and up.

15. Texas - Charis Hills Camp

"Charis Hills is a Christian Summer Camp for kids with learning differences and social difficulties such as ADD, ADHD, High-Functioning Autism, Asperger's disorder, and other special needs. Our goal is to provide a positive camp experience for kids while sharing the good news about Jesus Christ."

The camp has 8, one-week sessions. There are 4, one-week sessions for children aged 14-18, and 4, one-week sessions for children aged 13-18.

16. Vermont - Camp Akeela

Camp Akeela offers a co-ed sleep away camp for children aged 9 to 17. Children who attend have been diagnosed with Asperger's or other non-verbal learning disabilities. They have two sessions during the summer; each session is three and a half weeks long.
